The advantage of the CASPR technology is that it is an active versus reactive approach to eliminating environmental risks. Traditional surface cleaning techniques and the use of spray-based applications only provide one-time, episodic disinfecting. HEPA and other mechanical air filtration systems allow live pathogens to remain untreated in the air until they are drawn into the HVAC returns or portable-based filtration system. CASPR actively circulates harmless oxidizing molecules in the space whether pathogens are present or not. This gives the technology a jump start by treating pathogens as soon as they enter a room. The low-level hydrogen peroxide continuously blankets all surfaces to kill 99.96% of illness causing pathogens. The CASPR Compact is less than a foot tall, weighs under 10 pounds, and plugs into any standard wall outlet. Like all CASPR products, CASPR Compact offers continuous, 24/7 air & surface protection. Based on non-stop usage, replacement parts are required every 2 years.

The CASPR Group Continuous Disinfection Technology is a Photocatalytic Conversion Device that is designed to convert H2O and O2 in the air into safe but effective levels of Hydroxyl Radicals (OH-), Oxygen ions (O2-) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). The device utilizes a multi-wavelength ultraviolet light to illuminate a target surface. The target surface is a honeycomb matrix treated with a proprietary photocatalytic coating. When inserted into the ducts of the HVAC system, the device reacts with H2O molecules found in the humidity to continuously create predominately H2O2 molecules, which exit the duct and disperse throughout the targeted area, coating all surfaces with highly effective oxidizing molecules that work to reduce the bio-burdens of clinically relevant pathogens 24/7.
